Chromakane is Jessie Cohen, a London-based artist. Jessie creates illustrative, detailed art in the blackwork style, using solid planes of black ink. Each new piece begins as a pen and ink hand drawing, before being rendered digitally and reproduced to fine art print quality. Chromakane merges mythological and spiritual storytelling from Eastern and Western cultures to create a new visual identity, influenced by Jessie’s own Eurasian heritage.
